JACKSON, Virginia Ann (Moody) – of Flint, MI, age 88, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Todd Kingsbury officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Friday, April 1, 2022 and 10-11 AM Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home.
Virginia was born in Beulah, MI on March 18, 1934, daughter of the late Howard and Amy (Martin) Moody. She married Glen F. Jackson on March 10, 1951 and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2002. Virginia retired from St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, MI after many years of service. She was a member of the River of Life Worship Center. Virginia loved to cook for her family.
Virginia is survived by 4 children, Glen (Janet) Jackson, Paula Jackson, Donna (Chris) Danch and Lori Ketterer; 6 grandchildren, Tracey Lock, Carl Jackson, Carrie Schultz, Krista King, Julie Jones and Brandon Ketterer; 7 great-grandchildren, Andrew Jackson, Hannah Jackson, Logan Sharp, Aubrey King, Mason Jones, Blake Schultz and Peyton Schultz; sister, Joann (Raymond) Delgado; many other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Amy Moody; husband, Glen F. Jackson; son, Carl Eugene Jackson; 2 grandchildren, Charles Jackson and Lisa Jackson; 7 siblings, Gloria Townsend, Margaret Caswell, Marion Easterline, Vida Gilmore, Betty Delbridge, Dora Rhoades and William Moody.
