PUCHACZ, Stanley Sr. - of Burt, age 57, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Covenant Healthcare of Saginaw. Funeral service will be held 1PM Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Burial at Pinegrove Cemetery in Albee Township. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11AM until the time of service.
Stanley was born March 25, 1966, in Saginaw, to John and Laurel (Snelenberger) Puchacz. He graduated from Chesaning High School and proudly served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division. For 30 years, Stanley worked as an electrician for the Local 948, retiring in 2022. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he enjoyed being outdoors gardening, four-wheeling, and taking photos of nature. Stanley was incredibly family oriented, and he loved spending time with grandchildren and his boys, Garrett, Stan, and Devin. His unique sense of humor and outgoing personality allowed him to make friends wherever he went. Above all, he was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, union brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Stanley is forever remembered by his children: Stanley “Stan” Puchacz, Jr., Garrett (Amanda) Puchacz, and Devin Puchacz; Grandchildren: Dylan Puchacz, Aiden Puchacz, Landon Richmond, Autumn Puchacz, and Alexis Puchacz; Mother, Laurel Puchacz; Aunt, Jeri Tracy; Siblings: John (Carol) Puchacz, Jr., Lori K. (Dan) Daly, Angelique Puchacz; Nieces and Nephews: Zachary Puchacz, Colette (Christian) Arntson, Nicholas (Emily Sneller) Puchacz, Daniel (Julie) Daly, Benjamin Daly, Ryan (Candice) Daly, and Laurel (Kevin Lawinger) Daly; Cousins: Robert (Peppa) Campbell; Roland Poag, and Jennifer Tracy; Friends: Tim (Denice Howard) Smith and Ron Stinson. Stanley was preceded in death by his father, John Puchacz, Sr. |
