FRANKLIN, Mary Gail - age 80, of Fenton, died October 10, 2020. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Pastor Wes Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mary was born March 15, 1940 in Flint, the daughter of Gale Ronald and Beatrice Mary (Bondy) McAfee. She received an Associates Degree from Baker College. Mary married Charles Franklin on October 11, 1997 in Fenton and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2011. She worked for Creative Foam in Accounts Receivable for 25 years retiring in 2005. Mary was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are: four children, John (Leanne) Vamossy of Davison, Stephen (Judy) Vamossy of Grand Blanc, Paul (Dawn) Vamossy of Clio, and Victoria (Blair) Kenewell of Fenton; three grandchildren, Ian, Madelyn and Zachary Vamossy. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Kathleen Vamossy; husband, Charles Franklin; and brother, Ronald McAfee. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
