Thelma Irene Hindman age 84 of Clio, Michigan passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her place of residence. Funeral services will be held at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home at 5:00 pm on Friday July 23, 2021 located at 503 N Mill St, Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Thelma was born December 3, 1936 in Dyess, Arkansas daughter to Samuel L. Stow and Myrta G. Grigsby. She lived in the Clio area for 27 years. She married John L. Hindman on May 10, 1973 in Linden, Michigan. Thelma attended South Flint Tabernacle in Flint, Michigan for over 40 years.Thelma enjoyed word searches, lighthouses, crochet, reading, listening to gospel music, watching cooking shows, shopping, puzzles, and ice cream. Thelma had a kind heart and was a true representation of what love looks like. Her strong faith in God and the love she showed others will be her legacy.
Surviving is: 3 daughters, Sonja Vycital, Rhonda Henning and Rahnea Heard of Michigan; 1 son, Mike Brumley of North Carolina; 3 sisters, Bell Clay, Diane Mabus, and Jane McCarty of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; and 35 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband, John Hindman; Son, Ricky Brumley; Brother, Marvin Stow; Sisters, Donna Callahan and Novolyne Hopper; Parents, Samuel Stow and Myrta Grisby.
