SCHMITZER, Dustin – of Davison, age 42, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 PM at MD’s Sport Tavern & Grill, 3040 N. State Road, Davison 48423 on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
Dustin was born in Flint on January 14, 1982, son of Christy Schmitzer and Peter Harris. Dustin enjoyed the water, swimming and truly loved fishing. Dustin followed his passion for cooking and was quite the food connoisseur. His laugh, heartwarming smile and ability to be the “life of the party” will be missed by family and friends.
Dustin is survived by his loving mother, Christy; aunts, Sandy Droze, Judy Enne, and Jeri Harris; uncle, Mark Harris; several cousins and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncles, Steve and Dean Schmitzer; aunt, Tracy Reid.
