John Sysak, Jr. 89 of Coleman died Wednesday December 9, 2020 at MediLodge of Clare. He was born March 7, 1931 in Shiawassee County the son of the late John & Pauline (White) Sysak. John married Beverly J. Hadden July 25, 1953. He served with the United States Marine Corps. during the Korean War. John worked as a cement finisher on construction sites around the central Michigan area. He was a tinkerer, and was constantly working on projects at home. John always had a garden.
Survivors include his wife Beverly, children: Richard & Donna Sysak of Louisiana, Deb Jensen & Jay of Arizona, Mark & Barbara Sysak of California, Michelle & Kevin Jones of Winn, John & Kendra Sysak of Coleman, 13 grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday December 12, 2020 at the O’Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Scott Marsh officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Saturday starting at 10 am until the time of services. Please follow COVID-19 Protocol. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association
