Rosalin Christine Bolanowski, 76, of 5039 N. Hubbard Lake Road, Spruce, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on Sunday, April 20, 2014.
Rosalin was born in Flint, Michigan on November 23, 1937 to the late Oscar and Jessie (Gordon) Olson. On July 25, 1964 she married Edward Bolanowski Jr. and they moved to Hubbard Lake in 1998.
Rose enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and also enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Edward; 3 children, Christine (Ron) Stephens, Edward (Heide), Tony (Kim); 4 grandchildren, Gabrielle, Isabella, Jessica, Jimmy; 1 sister, Nellie Writtenhouse, and 2 sisters-in-law, Sally Olson, Lori Olson; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were 3 brothers, Oscar, Olaf, Chester; and 1 sister, Blanche Manley.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. with Sr. Mary Hughes SFCC officiating.
Memorials may be given to the family for the purchase of trees to be planted on Alpena Public Schools properties.
