Cynthia Lynn Stanke of Davison and Lapeer, age 56, died Friday January 29, 2021 at McLaren-Lapeer Regional Hospital. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Cynthia’s memory to the Genesee County Humane Society, or the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
Cynthia was born in Flint Michigan on December 16, 1964 the daughter of the Gerald & Caroline (Gragg) Stanke, and as resided in the Davison-Lapeer area most of her life. Cynthia was a lover of animals and truly loved the outdoors. She enjoyed bingo and ocean cruises. She loved the TV series The Walking Dead, and was a collector of anything and everything. Cynthia attended The Rising Church in Lapeer.
She is survived by her daughter Jeanna & husband Rocky Mason, and her grandchildren: Joshua, Keiralynn, Ariel, Daryl, and Cherokee. She also leaves her mother Caroline Stanke, sister Kimberly Fletcher, brother Gerald Stanke Jr. and grandmother Doris Gragg. Also surviving is the father of her children; Michael Pilly, close friend Ron Lloyd, and many extended family and close friends. She is preceded in death by son Joshua Pilly, father Gerald W.
