STRIBER, Jean Marie - Age 83, of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (A live stream of the service will be available on Jean's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Todd Biermann officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-8 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Blanc or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
Jean was born July 10, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of Michael Dan and Rosa Helen (Buchko) Lazuran. She was a 1957 graduate of Grand Blanc High School and she attended Flint Junior College. She married Gerald John Striber July 10, 1960 in Grand Blanc. She had resided in Grand Blanc most of her life. Jean retired in 1992 from General Motors as an Accountant. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc and a associate member of Woodlands Lutheran Church in Mt. Vern, FL.
Surviving are: her husband of 62 years, Gerald; daughter, Linda Starleen (Steve) Miller of Otisville; son, John Michael (Sandra) Striber of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, Tiffany (Tyler) Brown, Travis John (Lauren) Striber and Kristin Striber; sister, Sue (Kurt) Burrell of Grand Blanc; sister-in-law, Jacqueline (Lee) Anderson of Fenton; and nieces and nephews.
