LONGUEUIL, Erik- of Clio, age 46, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, at his residence. Honoring Erik’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Erik was born November 6, 1975, in Flint, to Thomas and Patricia (Manchester) Longueuil. Erik graduated from Clio Community Schools with the class of 1995 and worked at Meijer in Birch Run for some time. He was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Clio. Erik found joy in playing video games, reading comic books, and had a love for animals. He was a good handyman who liked to keep his hands busy doing woodwork and crafts. Above all, Erik was a kind individual who will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Erik is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Longueuil; Brother, Christian Longueuil; Aunts: Alma (David) Gay and Belinda (Bob) White; Uncle, Ted Manchester; Cousins: Danielle (Leonard) Shimmons, Elizabeth (Jason) Sonnenberg, Melissa (Scott) Crawford, Shawn (Dave) Robyn, Scott (Brook) Manchester, and Steven (Jodi) Manchester, Tammy (Jerry) Johnston, Brian (Teresa) Manchester; Loving companions: Sandy and Snowy. Erik was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Longueuil; Grandparents: Charly and Elizabeth Manchester, Charlotte and Claude Longueuil; Great Grandparents: Henry and Alma Martin, Clarence and Grace Manchester; Uncles: Keith Manchester and Kenneth Manchester; Aunts: Merle (Donald) Johnson, Onalee Herriman, and Norma (John) Martin; Stepmother, Joyce Longueuil. |
