THOMPSON, Mary Elizabeth (Grossheim) – of Davison, MI, age 87, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at home, surrounded by her family. A Graveside Service will be held 4 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Smith Hill Cemetery, Otisville, MI.
Mary was born in Greenhill, Alabama on March 10, 1935, daughter of the late Karl and Mary Emma (Busler) Grossheim. She married Freddie M. Thompson on July 4, 1953. Mary and Freddie were married for 60 years prior to his death on September 3, 2013.
Mary is survived by 4 children, Pamela (Brent) Doolin, Patricia (Vincent) Boris, Freda (Keith) Morris and Douglas (Joyce) Thompson; 6 grandchildren, Jillian (Joshua) Haney, Kenneth (Corie) Boris, Kurtis (Anna) Morris, Kala Morris, Emma Thompson and Ryan Thompson; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Grossheim. She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Mary Emma Grossheim; husband, Freddie M. Thompson; 2 brothers, Carl Grossheim and Fred Grossheim.
