BEEBE, Gerald “Jerry” Leon– of Davison, MI, age 91, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Luke Strasser officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, immediately following the service in Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-7 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022 and 11 AM-12 PM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s - Dementia Association or Davison VFW Post #4087, in Gerald’s memory.
Gerald was born in Flint, MI on April 10, 1931, son of the late Wallace and Tressa (Jewell) Beebe. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952-1953. Gerald married Beverly Hawley on January 19, 1952. In January 2022, they celebrated 70 wonderful years of marriage together. Gerald retired from General Motors in 1986 after many years of service. He attended Richfield Church of the Nazarene. Gerald was a member of Square Dance Motivators, UAW Local #659 and Davison VFW Post #4087. He enjoyed traveling with friends and woodworking. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Beverly Beebe; 4 children, Greg (Debi) Beebe, Cherie (Chris) Daly, Debbie Richards and David (Paula) Beebe; 7 grandchildren, Nicole Daly, Ryan (Angie) Richards, Christopher Daly, Ian (Amanda) Richards, Cody Beebe, Cory Beebe and Annette (Robert) Edwards; 6 great-grandchildren, Kamrin, Mason, Brooklyn, Raegan, Connor and Isaiah; many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Beebe Sr; mother, Tressa Kirchner; 5 siblings, Wayne Beebe, Wallace Beebe Jr., Kenneth Beebe, Dorothy Beebe and Leona Tubbs.
