Tammara Susan Campbell-O'Donnell

Born: 2/28/1962
Died: 5/18/2026
Age: 64
Community: Beaverton, MI

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tammara Susan Campbell-O’Donnell, 64, of Beaverton, Michigan. Tami passed away at her home on May 18, 2026.

Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Tami spent most of her life in Genesee County. Tami spent many years raising her family in Grand Blanc. In 2021, she and her husband, Bob, fulfilled a longtime dream and moved full-time to their cottage on Wixom Lake, affectionately known as "O'Donnell's Pub."

She attended Bauder Fashion College in Miami, FL and earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and business from Baker College in Flint. Tami was a lifelong entrepreneur with a passion for style and helping others feel their best. For 15 years, she owned and operated Tammara’s Boutique, a women’s clothing store.

Never one to sit on the sidelines, Tami became deeply involved in her new community following the devastating loss of Wixom Lake in 2020. She dedicated countless hours to efforts aimed at restoring the lakes and rebuilding the surrounding communities. Through her involvement with the Wixom Lake Association and her service as a Gladwin County Commissioner, she worked tirelessly to advocate for residents and help shape a brighter future for the region she loved.

Those who knew Tami knew she was passionate and strong-willed, yet equally warm, generous, and compassionate. As a mother, she was her children's greatest champion, offering unconditional love, steadfast support, and encouragement through every stage of life. She was also a devoted caregiver to family members and friends, always willing to step in during times of need. Whether offering comfort, guidance, or a helping hand, Tami could always be counted on.

Tami also found great joy in music. Together with Bob, she traveled far and wide to see her favorite artists and local musicians alike: from the Machine Shop in Flint, to Red Rocks in Colorado, and frequent visits to Nashville. Whether enjoying live music, gathering loved ones, or working to improve her community, she embraced life with enthusiasm and purpose.

Tami is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Robert O'Donnell; her children, Alexander Welch and Meredith Welch; her father, Howard Campbell; her brothers, Todd Campbell (DeAnn) and Thomas Campbell (Kimberly); and a large circle of extended family and friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty Campbell.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Tami on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the Rosary at 12:00 p.m. and the funeral service at 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wixom Lake Association or Genesee County Animal Care, causes that reflect Tami's commitment to her community.

We invite all who knew and loved Tami to join us in celebrating her life, sharing memories, and honoring her remarkable legacy.
