MOST, Elaine Mary Rene – Of Swartz Creek, age 75, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 11am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Elaine was born in Flint, Michigan on April 15, 1947, the daughter of Frank and Irene (Belanger) Perrow. She graduated in the first ever class at Northwestern High School, Class of 1968. She briefly attended beauty school, and in 1969, married the love of her life, Larry, who she was married to for 39 years. He preceded her in death in 2008. They had 7 fabulous children who she bragged about at every occasion. Elaine had a love of cooking and passed down may of her recipes to her children. She enjoyed traveling to the Upper Peninsula with her husband and later with her children. Elaine was also an avid fashion plate and loved clothing jewelry and especially purses.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff who cared for her in the ER, especially Dr. Roya Caloia and Joy, the staff of SICU, Kim, Ciorra, Sarah, Steph and Collin, who took great care of her, as well as the doctors who cared for her including Dr. Gerald Fulton and Sound Physicians and the critical care unit.
Surviving are 7 children, Michelle Most, Christopher Most, Danielle (Ian) McEwan, Noelle (Greg) Fahr, Gabrielle (Rachel Wittbrodt) Most, Joelle (Jeremy) Gross, Angelle (Dan) Erikson; honorary son, Doug King.
grandchildren, Alex McEwan, Vincent Gross and Ivan McEwan;
and fur babies, Timmy and Tommy.
She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Bianca Wernke grandson, Julian Wernke and special companion, Sheridan.
