COOPER, Harry D. "Del" - Age 87, of Flint, died January 28, 2021. Funeral service will be held 1PM Monday, February 1st at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mount Morris. Visitation will be held 1PM-3PM and 6PM-9PM Sunday and 12PM until time of service on Monday. Harry was born April 8, 1933 in Flint the son of Fredrick and Thelma (Kogler) Cooper. He married Carrol Christopher on November 29, 1952, she preceded him in death on April 12, 2018. "Del" retired from General Motors "Chevy in the hole" in skilled trades with 30 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local 659. Harry enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, hunting and camping. He is survived by his children, Christine (Tom) Bohl of Davison, Raydene (Paul) Nowak of Kawkawlin, Sherry (David) Paxton of Flint, Dalan Bertasso of Flint; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Thelma Cooper; sister, Sharon Curry; brother, Larry Cooper. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
