Elizabeth Anne Settlemyre "Lee" age 67, of Burton, Michigan passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at her home in Burton surrounded by her family.
Elizabeth was born on March 10,1956 in Flint, Michigan to her parents Robert and Harriet Drinkrow. She was a 1974 graduate of Atherton High School, followed by earning her Associates degree in nursing from Mott Community College in 1990. She worked her entire nursing career at McLaren Hospital in Flint where she made a tremendous impact on her patients as well as her coworkers. Everyone she met loved her infectious laugh and knew her for her sarcastic sense of humor.
She was a Beautiful, Intelligent, Tough and Caring Human. Lee enjoyed working in the yard, spending time with her grandkids and hanging with her family and friends. She is survived by her children Dennis of Burton and Carrie of Flushing; grandchildren Mitchell, Baylee, Spencer, Owen and Mason; siblings Suzanne Matusik, Kathleen (Douglas) Sasse, Robert (Susan) Drinkrow, Barbara (Bernadette) Drinkrow and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Harriet Drinkrow, brother Steven, sister Linda, brother in laws Dudley and Michael and son in law Justin. The family would like to thank McLaren Hospice nurses Juli and Robin for their excellent care and compassion shown during this difficult time.
