MAYO, Mary Ruth - Of Flint, formerly of Waldorf, Maryland, age 76, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Kith Haven.
A Memorial service will be held 4pm Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
Remembrances 2pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mary Ruth was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina on May 16, 1937 and was a resident of Waldorf, Maryland from 1972 until 2004 when she moved to Michigan.
Surviving are 2 children, Mike and wife Jenny and Judy and husband Dan Benke;
granddaughter, Emily Benke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan “Buddy” Mayo, sister, Irene Hudson, brothers, Rudolph, Cooper and Garland Manning.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses, aides and staff at Kith Haven.
