ROUSE, Gerald Wayne – of Birch Run, age 64, died Friday, August 19, 2022 at Great Lakes Rehab Center. Honoring Gerald’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Gerald was born September 8, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert and Geraldine (Kinney) Rouse. He grew up in Birch Run, Michigan and graduated from Birch Run High School with the class of 1976. Prior to his retirement in 2007, Gerald worked as a Maintenance Man at the Exit Restaurant in Birch Run for over 30 years. He was a member of the Birch Run - Taymouth Jaycee’s Club for several years. Gerald enjoyed going to the stock car races, playing pool, fishing and riding his moped. He loved going camping and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Siblings, Robert Rouse, Bill (Cindy) Suffel, Darrel (Kem) Suffel, Michael (Becky) Suffel; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert Rouse, Mother, Geraldine Suffel and husband William; Siblings, Harry Rouse, Elaine Garrison.
