Rita Jean Nichols, age 81, of Flint, Michigan passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024, surrounded by her family. Rita was born on January 9, 1943, in Flint, Michigan to her late parents Donald Grow and Maxine Fenner. Rita worked for Kelsey-Hayes in Brighton, Michigan for 11 years. In Rita's free time, she enjoyed going to the casino, dancing, and playing bingo with friends and family. Rita loved her family dearly and will be truly missed.
Rita is survived by her daughter Kimberly Rainey and son Kurtis Nichols; granddaughters Courtney, Alexiss, and Justice; and grandson Kurtis; sister Renee Harrington and Francine Grow; brother Monty Jackson. Preceded in passing by her son-in-law Russell Rainey; Grandson Jeremey Rainey; parents Donald Grow and Maxine Fenner; Brothers Gary, Donald, and Clayton Grow; sisters Sherry and Yvonne.
A funeral visitation for Rita will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, officiated by Joel Stiff. |
