Vaughn D. Marlow, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Vaughn was born to Cleo and Charlene Mominee in Oregon, OH. on November 21, 1935. He was married to Minnie (Slone) Marlow for 42 years. Vaughn served in the U.S. Army and worked as a custodian for the Toledo Public Schools for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, loved his dogs and spending time with his family. Vaughn could best be described as a loveable character that was always there when you needed him.
Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie. He is survived by children: Tom (Tammy), Dan (Anne), David (Connie), Ricky (Becky) and Alice (Doug); 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings and many other family and friends.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. where a Veterans service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to give memorial contributions may do so to the family.
