Crane, Robert “Bob” Arthur of Flushing, age 79, died Friday, February 11, 2022, at Ascension-Genesys. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will officiate. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass at the church. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Catholic Church.
Robert was born in Flint, Michigan, the son of Olgar and Clella (Harris) Crane. He married Sandra (Bradley) Fechik on May 11, 1974. He worked for 37 years at Buick, Local 599. He was a faithful member of St. Robert Catholic Church. Together with his wife, they enjoyed traveling and had visited 49 of the 50 United States. Bob enjoyed camping with his grandchildren, watching television, golfing, bike riding, but most of all, he loved singing in the St. Robert Choir for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra; children, Brian Crane, Mark Crane, George (Susanna Szpunar) Fechik; grandchildren, Kerstin (Nathan Smith) Crane, Payton (Cory) Repasi, Nolan (Breonna Ballard) Crane; great-grandchildren, Easton and Raley Repasi, Arya Smith, Bentley and Natalia Crane; siblings, Lois York, Duane Crane, Deanna (Dave) Harden, Carol Horvath, Ruthann (Eugene) Vickerman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jean Crane, Linda Crane, Mary Cross, Geraldine Irons, Rosalie (Glen) Bargo, Tom (Juanita) Bradley and Lorraine Brock. Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Maurice Crane, Larry Crane, John Crane, Danny Crane; brothers and sisters-in-law, Devern Crane, Marion Crane, Bob Neverdausky, Gene Cross, Pauline (Gary) Haywood, Jerry Irons, Anthony Bradley, Bill Bradley, Don Bradley, and John Brock.
