Shirley A. Comstock of Flint, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb 25th from 4pm to 8pm at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI 48507.
The funeral service will take place Saturday, Feb 26th at 11am, at the funeral home, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Entombment at Flint Memorial Park.

Shirley was born on September 10th, 1934, to Vern and Ruby Ray, Shirley was 1 of 15, having 7 brothers and 7 sisters.
She married her husband, Ford W. Comstock July 25th, 1981. They were lucky enough to share 31 wonderful years together before Ford's passing on Aug. 3rd, 2012.
Shirley retired from her job as everyone's favorite custodian at Grand Blanc High school in 2009, after having worked there for 37 years. After retiring, she spent all her time doing the things she loved most, spending time with her grandchildren, running amok with her sister, Barbara, and daily chats over coffee with her long-time neighbor and best friend, Sandra Lord.
Surviving are her 5 grandchildren; Patrick, Heather, Elizabeth, Candace, and Taylor; her great grandson, Nathan; sister, Barbara and brothers, Verlin and Jerry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ford; daughter, Kimberly; son, Bradley; her parents and several siblings.
