BECK, Marjorie L. “Marge” - Of Fox Run in Novi, formerly of Flint, age 87, died Monday, August 25, 2014.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, August 29, 2014
at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2051 West Maple Avenue, Flint.
Reverend Paul M. Boerger officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to: Lamb of God Lutheran Church Building Fund.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Family and Friends sharing will be held 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Marjorie will be at the church 10am Friday until the time of the service.
Marjorie was born in Flint on February 10, 1927, the daughter of Walter and Clara Beck and was a resident of Flint all of her life. She was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church. Marjorie was employed by Michigan Bell for 30 years, retiring in 1977.
Surviving are several cousins, including Doris Larson and Ruth Watson, honorary grandmother of Kaity and Ryan and honorary great-grandmother of Dakota and Austin.
A special thank you to Bernie and Peggy Shinkel, Reverend Paul Boerger, Reverend James Wilber, Penny Striegel, Lelanel Malick, Lisa Brigg and many faithful and loving friends from Lamb Of God Lutheran Church.
The professional and sensitive care given by the nursing staff and personnel of Fox Run over the years enriched Marge’s life and was very much appreciated.
