McCRANDALL, Robert Kenneth– of Davison, age 96, passed away on April 19, 2022. A Funeral Service, with military honors, will be held 7 PM Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be held from 3 PM to 8 PM Sunday. Private burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church in Davison.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on January 22, 1926, son of the late William and Mollie (Stuchlik) McCrandall. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. Robert married Barbara Ann Mason on October 18, 1952, and she preceded him in death on November 2, 2021. He built model WWII planes and bikes to donate, which was known as “Bob’s Bike Shop”. Robert enjoyed gambling and mowing his lawn. He worked as a Line Supervisor for GM, later working at Al Serra and delivering cars for Superior Pontiac/Cadillac.
Robert is survived by his children, Michael (Ann Marie) McCrandall, Ann (Joseph) Bisaha, Joseph (Maureen) McCrandall, Mark McCrandall, Paul (Linda) McCrandall, John (Julian) McCrandall, Phillip (Tammy) McCrandall, Martha (Brad Gilmour) Churches, Mary (Todd) Strickland and Thomas McCrandall; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Kenneth Mason; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rebecca McCrandall; grandson, Michael McCrandall II; son-in-law, Robert Churches; daughters-in-law, Diane McCrandall and Debbie McCrandall; brothers, William (Lucille) McCrandall and James (Opal) McCrandall; sister-in-law, Jenette Mason.
