Mrs. Rita Michelle Allen was born September 1.1968 in Flint, Mi. the daughter of Carl Flakes and Thelma McMillian. She was a resident of Mt. Morris, Mi., and a member of Restoration Bethel Ministries.
Rita attended Beecher High School and she loved to decorate for special events. She was the proud owner of Rita Michelle’s Designs and she enjoyed shopping and spending time with her boys. Rita was kindhearted, free spirited and funny. She found joy in giving to others.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 3 sons, Jonathan McMillian, Tyron Allen both of Mt. Morris, Mi., and Aaron (Adrian) Allen of Grand Blanc, MI., granddaughter, Jacolbi Michelle Allen of Mt. Morris, MI.,
2 brothers, Derrick McMillian, and Nicholas Cannamore, 2 nieces, Qua and Shombria McMillian, 2 nephews, Dominique Marshall and DeAngelo Ferguson all of Flint, Mi., Mother in laws, Nakia Allen and Rosilyn Green, father in law, Bishop John Allen.
A host of other relatives and friends including Cassandra Lewis, Rena Hill, Sandra Barnett, and Tiffany Kimbrugh.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Dedrick McMillian and Gregory Allen, parents, Thelma McMillian and Carl Flakes and brother, Rodney McMillian.
