Sabourin, Dennis Anthony of Flushing, age 82, died Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Majestic Care in Flushing. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Dennis was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on February 4, 1940, the son of Neil and Alice (Iverson) Sabourin. He married Dorothy Ann Laureto on August 6, 1960, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Flint. She preceded him in death on January 1, 2018, after 57 years of marriage. For over 47 years, Dennis owned and operated North Flint Automotive. Dennis loved flying and was a recreational pilot who purchased Dalton Airport in Flushing and started the condo association there. He also loved Street Rods. Dennis had a home on Long Lake in Hale and enjoyed spending time at the lake and fishing.
Dennis is survived by his children, Tony and wife Pam Sabourin, Tom and wife Sharon Sabourin, Timothy and wife Colleen Sabourin, Tina and husband Matt Matus; grandchildren, Katie (Andrew), Jenna, Madison (Mike), Dylan; great-grandchildren, Callum and Myles; siblings, Connie (Patsy) Sabourin, Greg Sabourin, Allen (Becky) Sabourin, Kimberly (Tim) Day; and several nieces and nephews.
