DELECKI, Lori Ann (Kenney) - Age 65, of Fenton, passed away peacefully at home, after a long battle from her illness, Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton (A live stream of the Mass will be available on Lori's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes; Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4-7 PM and at the church Saturday September 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Lori was born September 13, 1957 in Flint, the daughter of William and Louise (Berry) Kenney. She was a 1975 graduate of Carman High School. She married Anthony "Tony" Delecki December 12, 1986 in Fenton. She had resided in Fenton/Flint most of her life. She was employed by the Fenton Community Schools for many years. Lori was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, reading, going to the movies and broadway shows, walks with her dog and of course, shopping. Lori was a giving, caring and loving person to all.
Surviving are: her husband, Tony; sons, Kevin (Courtney) Delecki of Cedar Rapids, IA and Everett (Kristyn) Delecki of Howell; grandchildren, Caden, Levi, Izzy, Callie and Camryn; sister, Cherry (Steve) Howell of Birmingham; sister-in-law, Nancy (Ron) Williams of Fenton; brothers-in-law, Chris (Bonnie) Delecki of Washington State and Matt (Cheryl) Delecki of Fenton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother. And with love and many blessing, a special thank you to all of Lori's caregivers, especially, Kim, Alice, Stephanie and Sherri. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
