HODGES, CHARLES LAWRENCE, II – Of Swartz Creek, age 66, died Sunday, July 16, 2023 at McLaren-Flint.
Visitation 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Charles was born in Flint, Michigan on July 1, 1957, the son of the late Charles and Mary (Haynes) Hodges.
Charles was employed by GM for over 30 years and was a member of UAW Local #599. He also worked for the Swartz Creek Fire Department.
He enjoyed collecting fire trucks, fireman patches and coins. Most of all, he loved being with family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are significant other, Sue;
sons, Cassidy and Michael (Tiffany);
sisters, Linda Jamra and Cynthia Krill;
grandchildren, Giuliana, Parker, Kennedy, Charles Liam.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew.
