BROWN, David F. - Age 78, of Swartz Creek, passed away June 24, 2022. Services will be held 12:30PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to Victoria's House, 1219 N. Dye Rd., Flint, MI 48532. David was born November 23, 1943 in Howell and was a 1961 graduate of Gaines High School. He married Marlene Weber in 1968 in Durand, MI. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors in 1998 after 35 years of service. David enjoyed camping with his family. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughter, Katherine (Kim) Syfert; son, Joseph Brown; grandchildren, Jaynie Straley and Ian Straley; brother, Ralph (Rachel) Brown; sister, Karen. several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Elizabeth and Don Bradford; step-sister, Patricia Lauritzen; step-brother, Don Bradford. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
