Childers, Donald Gene - Age 75, of Mt. Morris, died October 5, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 9 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Interment to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Friday, October 8, and from 10 AM Saturday until the time of the service Saturday October 9. Those desiring may make contributions to Eva Kilian College Fund. Donald was born February 28, 1946. He married Grace Haskins on June 14, 1969 she preceded him in death on February 3, 2020. Donald retired from General Motors V8 Engine Plant. He was a member of Crossroads Temple Church of God. Donald love playing Santa for many years. He would do just about anything for anyone. Donald also worked at Crossroads Village. He is survived by his son, James Martin; granddaughter, Jennifer (Brad) Kilian; great-granddaughter, Eva Ann Kilian; 2 brothers, Albert (Brenda) Childers, Ronnie Childers; several nieces and nephews.
