RICHARDS, KATHERINE A. “Kathy” – Of Flushing, age 75, died Friday, June 13, 2025, at Beaumont Royal Oak.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Friday, June 20, 2025, and 11am Saturday until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Kathy was born in Flint, Michigan, on July 6, 1949, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Valkoun) Kupres.
Kathy loved traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother attending every event she could. She was very outgoing and was loved by so many people.
Surviving are her son, Jeff and wife Heather Richards, daughter Marie and husband Preston Parrish;
grandchildren, Tameron and Aidan;
nephews, Tony and Andrew;
first and final love, Joe Forstie as well as numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by both of her brothers, Charles and Gary Kupres.
