TAYLOR, Edna Ruth – of Clio, age 83, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 30, 2021 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Jim Harvey officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Edna was born May 6, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Earvin and Winnie (Jefferies) White. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and attended Beecher High School. On September 25, 1957 she married Lester Taylor and he preceded her in death in 2018. Edna enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, game shows, and going out to eat. She was an excellent cook and also loved to bake. Edna liked playing the harmonica, singing and whistling. She was an excellent speller. However, spending time with her family was her greatest joy in life.
Surviving are: Children, Yvonne (Tom) Mcarthy, Gordon (Carol) Taylor, Michael (Susan) Taylor, Paul Taylor, Kyle Taylor; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Gardner, Ryan Bissonnette, Emily (Max) Hergert, Adam (Doug) Taylor, Isiah Taylor, Darren Hyde; Great Grandchildren, Wren Gardner, Cadence Gardner, Eleanor Hergert, Jeremy Taylor; Siblings, John (Marilyn) White, Dick White, Carol (Bill) Simons, Floyd (Mary) White, Steve White.
