William (Bill) Richard Allen- of Clio, age 79, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM, Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 3PM until 7PM and on Thursday from 10AM until time of service.
Bill was born August 11, 1942, in Flint, Michigan, to the late William and Otilia (Miller) Allen. He graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1960. In 1962 he married the love of his life, Aneda O’Toole. Bill worked at Fisher Body until it closed in 1984; when, he transferred to Buick City. He moved to Mesa, Az after he retired until 2021, when he moved back to his family farm in Clio, Mi. Bill loved life. In his younger years he spent countless hours at car shows, boating and driving snowmobiles with family and friends. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Bill was quick to offer a joke, finding humor in almost any circumstance. He also loved spending evenings with family playing card games, watching sci-fi movies, and listening to music. Trans-Siberian Orchestra played throughout the year, regardless of the season!
Surviving are: his wife of 60 years, Aneda Allen; Children Gregory Allen and Kristen (Allen) Verran. He was a proud Papa to his grandchildren Richele (Allen) Carroll and spouse Tim Carroll, Gregory S. Allen Jr., Shane Allen, Christopher Allen, Kayleigh (Verran) Stringham and spouse David Stringham, Paige (Verran) Miller and spouse Dereck Miller, Seth Verran, Cheyanne Verran, Kayden Verran, Jordyn (Otilia) Allen and Liam Allen; Great Grandchildren: Viktoria Stringham, Emileah Stringham and, Katherine Stringham.
