DUDLEY, Jerry Dale - Age 75, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, July 12, 2021. Services will be held 12PM Saturday August 7 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service can be found at Jerry's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held 10AM Saturday August 7 until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association.
Jerry was born July 21, 1945 in Flushing, the son of Roger and Clara (Schaff) Dudley. He was a 1963 graduate of Flushing High School and he received a Degree in Education from the University of Michigan, Flint. He married Judith A. Nelson July 1, 1994 in Las Vegas, NV. He was a teacher in the Beecher School System; and he retired from GM Pontiac Metal Fab. after 40 years of service. Jerry was a member of the U.A.W. Local #653. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Surviving are: his wife, Judy; children, Sarah (John) Lemek of New York, Rachel (Mark Quinones) Dudley of Massachusetts, Laurie (Kevin) Cruppenink of Swartz Creek, Julie (Andy) Schupbach of Fenton, Curt (Dawn) Lanxton of Swartz Creek, Rhonda (Ric) Fleming of Linden, and Wendy (Jessie) Thompson of Flint; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother, Van Dudley; and his four legged companion, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Maki; and brother, Ronald Dudley. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
