CRELLEY, Paula Marie - age 68 of Fenton, died October 21, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, October 27, 2022, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Wednesday. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Thursday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to ALS of Michigan (www.alsofmichigan.org) or the Valley Area Agency on Aging (www.valleyareaaging.org). Paula was born March 31, 1954, in Traverse City, the daughter of Robert Joseph and Jeanine Anna (Malo) Zeffero. She was a 1972 graduate of Fenton High School. Paula received a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, a master's degree from Oakland University and an Education Specialist Degree from Wayne State University. She retired from Tomek-Eastern Elementary School where she was a teacher for many years. Paula married Floyd Crelley on July 22, 1994, in Fenton and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2009. She was a very active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church participating in many Bible studies and Women's groups. She also participated in a long-standing book club with her friends and colleagues from Tomek-Eastern Elementary School. Surviving are: three children, Collette Marie (Tom) Shouse, Carly Ann (Rob) Rowles, Dominic Lee (Erin) Adams; two step-daughters, Stephanie (Max) Reck and Colleen (Duane) Maier; 10 grandchildren, Anna, Mason, Abby, Lexi, Molly, Mallory, Hayden, Natalie, Skylar, and Michael; siblings, Leeanne Zeffero, Corine Zeffero, Bobby (Theresa) Zeffero, Amy (Rick) Corcoran, and Greg Zeffero; many adored nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Sutton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jeanine Zeffero; husband, Floyd Crelley; and beloved dog, Scooter. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
