MELDRUM, Lois E. – Of Flint, age 82, died Sunday, November 8, 2020
Lois was born in Flint, Michigan on May 28, 1938, the daughter of Alvin and Thelma Gaffney.
Lois married Elmer Meldrum on January 24, 1959, whom she shared 41 years together.
Lois worked hard to become a Certified Surgical Technician at Flint Osteopathic Hospital (FOH), and later at the new Genesys Hospital.
She loved her career, and was a highly regarded employee for 30 years, retiring in 1998.
Lois had a great passion for all things Tea. She often traveled many miles to experience a fine teahouse.
She enjoyed memberships with the Genesee County Herb Association, The Tea Society at Grand Oak Herb Farm and the Red Hat Society.
She was, and still is loved by her children, Susan Dawn and her husband David, Laura and her husband Kirk, Julie Ann, Hank and his wife Ronda;
step-daughters, Carol Ann (deceased), Susan Marie (deceased) and friend Amanda, and Jean Jeanette;
grandchildren, Jason, Crystal, Austin and Sheila;
8 great-grandchildren;
brothers, Harvey “Vern” and wife Shirley (deceased), Richard and wife Joanne;
there were also many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, who she dearly loved.

A private memorial service will be held.
Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to Eldridge House at Crossroads Village or Genesee Road Church of God.
