HENDERSON, Susan Marie – Of Swartz Creek, age 61, died Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her home.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Roy Horning officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to crohnscolitisfoundation.org
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Susan was born on October 5, 1960 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frank and Janice (Hutchinson) Takacs.
She graduated from Flushing High School Class of 1978.
On August 3, 1985 Susan Takacs married Mathew Henderson at St. Roberts Catholic Church in Flushing and enjoyed 36 years together.
She was a talented florist, super crafty, wonderful mom and grandma. She was also a bargain hunter and could put a smile on anyone’s face that came in contact with her and she had the best humorous stories.
Surviving are husband, Mathew;
daughter, Brittany (Dustin) Vickers;
grandchildren, Izzy, Leighton and Ember;
brothers, Patrick (Isma), Rick (Beth) and Frank;
sister, Debbie (Paul) Hirn;
many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and wonderful exchange student who called her Mom-Sunny.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
