Age 79, of Holly, formerly of Clio, died Saturday, February 1, 2014. A private burial is scheduled to take place.
Mr. Roney was born October 31, 1934 in Dryden, MI. He is the son of Leon and Lula Roney. In his free time he enjoyed playing fast pitch softball and tending to his animals.
Left to cherish his memory are children, Don and wife, Karen Roney, Carmen and husband, Joe Hoffman and Rob and wife, Cherie Roney; grandchildren, Christopher Roney, Sabrina Hemerline, Michael Roney, Ryan Roney, Nichole Slough, Josh Tinker, Courtney Fillmore, Jeff Fillmore, Jayden Roney and Ethan Roney; 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and special furry friend Hannah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother; and five sisters.
