HOLIDAY, Edwin J. – “Ed” “Doc” – Of Grand Blanc, age 75, died Friday, September 7, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Patti Tuer
officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Visitation 12 p.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Edwin was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 17, 1943, the son of Floyd and Jenny (Smithengill) Holiday.
On December 11, 1964 he married the love of his life Linda McGrain.
He was a member of the Flint Aero Club, where he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
2 sons, John Holiday of Holly, James and wife Jennifer Holiday of Flint Township;
sister, Betty and husband John Haney of New Mexico;
2 brothers;
sisters-in-law, Kay and husband Jay Taylor of Clarkston and Vicki McGrain of Flint;
many nieces and nephews.
