GWIZDZ, Catherine – Of Flint, age 92, died Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial of cremains at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
She was born in Poland on October 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Anthony and Julia (Kalemba) Gwizdz.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Catherine retired from Genesys after 40 years of service.
She was a supporter of the Sloan Museum and the Flint Public Library.
Surviving are brother, Anthony;
nieces, Ann Davis of Dallas, Texas and Stephanie Gwizdz of Fort Worth, Texas;
5 great-nieces and nephews;
1 great-great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
