STEVENS, Charles – Formerly of Mt. Morris, age 90, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at The Pines of Burton. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 6100 Richfield Road, Flint, MI, 48506; Pastor Pete Scribner officiating. Interment will take place at Springport Cemetery, Harrisville, MI. Visitors will be received one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Charles was born in Flint, MI on November 11, 1935, son of the late Daniel and Verna (MacDonald) Stevens. He was a longtime, active member at Calvary Presbyterian Church where he was a proud member of the choir, a Deacon, and a member of Stephen Ministry. Chuck retired from the Flint Schools, where he was employed as a custodian for more than 30 years. He was very much respected and loved by all his church family. Chuck had a giving heart, who was always willing to assist anyone in need.
Chuck is survived by his Calvary Church Family and friends. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Weycker; and a niece, Diane Weycker.
Chuck’s family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at the Pines of Burton for their wonderful care given to Chuck.
