KONIECZKA, Anna Jean (Brown) – of Davison, MI, age 91, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Friday, July 21, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Kristen Lepalm officiating. Inurnment in Dodge Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM Thursday, July 20, 2023 and one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Dunston Episcopal Church memorial fund, in Anna Jean’s memory.
Anna Jean was born in Otter Lake, MI on October 22, 1931, daughter of the late Warren and Erma (Lewis) Brown. On December 23, 1950, Anna Jean married the love of her life, Robert F. Konieczka, in Fostoria, MI. They shared a beautiful journey together, filled with love and cherished memories. Anna Jean devotion to her family and faith was unwavering. She found great joy in the company of her loved ones and in her strong connection with God. Anna Jean love for music was evident throughout her life, as she dedicated herself to singing and playing the piano. She lent her melodious voice to the church choir and, for a period of time, she was a valued member of a singing quartet. Anna Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her kind heart, beautiful voice and unwavering faith have left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence.
Anna Jean is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Konieczka; 3 children, William Konieczka, James (Robin) Konieczka and Joseph (Anne) Konieczka; 5 grandchildren, Corey Konieczka, Jennifer (Andy) VonFintel, Amanda (Mike) Alfredson, Christopher (Katherine) Konieczka and Lori (Keith) Fisher; 7 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Carson, Sophie, Charlie, Alexis, Eli, and Lucy; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Erma Brown; 3 siblings, Alvah Brown, Lewis Brown and Leila Rowden.
