NELSON, Dale William - of Burton, age 89, died Thursday, September 14, 2023.
Cremation has taken place. He will be buried at East Dayton Cemetery Tuscola County, MI.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Dale was born in Frankenmuth Michigan on May 17, 1934, the son of William E. and Helen B. (Frost) Nelson Watson. On September 6, 1952 he married Lillian Roat in Flint. They were married for 62 years until her death in 2015. Dale worked for Buick Motor Division of General Motors for 46 years. Dale loved his family dearly, enjoyed driving his Corvette, and telling "his" stories. Dale was a man of action he was always trying to "fix" things whether it be a family member, friend or complete stranger. He was a generous caring man who was loved and respected by all who met him.

Surviving are sons, Ronald (Cynthia) Nelson and Craig Nelson (fiance Amy Linn);
daughters, Brenda December and Jodie (Tim) Park;
grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sachiko), Michael (Tracy), James, Michael (deceased), Shane, Jennifer, Zachary (Destinee) Jessica (Nic) and Nicholas (Ally);
and many great grandchildren and one new great great grandson and another great great grandson on the way.

special friend Carol.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian, daughter Lynndora Lee and brother Leonard.
