NAVARRE, Yvonne M. – of Flint, age 67, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church, 2378 Center Rd., Burton; Pastor Andy Auclair officiating. A Private Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday at church. Memorial contributions can be made in Yvonne’s memory to Gift of Life Michigan, giftoflifemichigan.org.
Yvonne was born in Flint, MI on November 28, 1954, daughter of the late Hubert and Barbara (Stengel) Winters. She married Larry Navarre on August 13, 1977. Yvonne loved working in her many flower gardens and capturing pictures of nature. She also enjoyed puzzles, crosswords and camping. Yvonne was employed for over 35 years in the home health field. She was an active member of her church for 35 years until her death.
Yvonne is survived by her husband of 44 years, Larry; children, Kim Navarre, Shanette Kidd, Michelle (Craig) Hose, Ryan Navarre, Steven Navarre and Courtney (Dan) Kruse; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Randy (Linda) Winters, Susan (George) Webb and Judy (Dale) Frank; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Amanda; son-in-law, Matt.
