Mofield, Christine Therese - Age 72, of Swartz Creek, died July 23, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday July 29, 2022, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A livestream of the service will be available at Chirstine's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, July 28, and 12 PM until the time of the funeral on Friday July 29. Christine was born December 6, 1949 in Escanaba the daughter of Bertrum Joseph Doutree and Eunice Jean (Way) Doutree. She was a graduate of the Michigan School for the Deaf. She was married to Charles Mofield who has preceded her in death. She was then married to Robert Alward who has preceded her in death. Christine retired from the United States Postal Service with 34 years of service, she had worked at the Flint Main Branch. She enjoyed her affiliation with the Flint Association of the Deaf Club, and was a member of Masters Hands House Deaf church. She was a devoted and loving mom and grandma. Surviving are: her two children, Jeff (Duana) Mofield, Marie Mofield; grandchildren, Hunter, Drew, and Desiree; siblings, Brenda (Bob) Gardiner; Donna (George) Dunlap, Allen Doutree, Lisa (Brian) Pascoe; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Mofield, and husband Robert Alward. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
