SAMUELSON, Clinton - Of Gaines Township, age 89, died, Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his residence with his family present.
Committal service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Crestwood Cemetery, 2020 Hill Road, Grand Blanc,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Entombment at Crestwood Cemetery.
Clinton was born in Flint, Michigan on December 1, 1933 the son of the late Arthur and Geraldine (Snyder) Samuelson. On February 6, 1954, he married Patricia Patterson in Flint, Michigan and she preceded him in death on November 17, 2021. Clinton served in the United States Navy. He retired from Buick after 38 years of service. Clinton played the guitar and sang for the family for 60 years. He was also an avid fisherman. Clinton was known as the King Dumpster Diver for 50 years.
Surviving are daughter, Lisa Moore;
grandchildren, Jeffrey Moore and Shayne Moore;
great-grand-daughter, Carter Moore;
siblings, Ann Lopez, Virginia Wise, David Samuelson, and Gary Samuelson;
many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Arthur, Blair and Melborne.
