ADAMS, Beverly June (Woods) – of Davison, MI, age 87, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Gary Loudermilk officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-8 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and 12-1 PM Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Beverly’s TOPS friends, Don and Sue Wirsing, her friends at Braidwood Manor and the nurses and staff of Kindred Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Beverly.
Beverly was born in Flint, MI on August 25, 1929, daughter of the late Lloyd and Erma (Fessenden) Woods. She was a graduate of Beecher High School Class of 1947. Beverly married Carl E. Adams on August 25, 1948 in Flint, MI and he preceded her in death on January 12, 1982. She was a member of Family Community Nazarene Church in Goodrich, MI. Beverly loved God, her TOPS Club and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Beverly is survived by 2 children, Virginia (Albert) Link and Carl E. (Marge) Adams III; 4 grandchildren, Denise Kelly, Michael (Renee) Link, John Adams and Janice (Jess) Venable; 7 great-grandchildren, Morgan Kelly, Alexis Kelly, Austin Knaggs, Allyson Link, Hayden Link, Mady Link and Kegan Adams; brother, Stewart (Patty) Woods; special nephew, Don (Sue) Wirsing; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by brother, Edwin Woods; sister, Mildred Hart.
