YAUCH, Ronald "Ron"- Of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Flint, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 93 years old.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Road, Burton 48529.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, December 1st at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint. Visitation also 10:00am Friday until the time of Mass at the church.
Ronald was born in Flint, Michigan on April 14, 1929 the son of the late John and Marie (Dumonthier) Yauch. He married Shirley on September 17, 1949 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and they had four children together. Ron built houses in Davison for Ward Blaine Homes Inc. for many years and then went to Ace Asphalt, where he retired. He and his family built a cabin in Clare where Ron loved to spend time in the woods and baking peanut butter cookies. He will be remembered for his constant willingness to help others, his love for his family, and his smile.
Ron leaves behind 3 daughters, Debra (Thomas) Gorte, Linda Yauch and Tracy Khan; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and close friend, Georgie Richardson.
Ron joins in Heaven his wife, Shirley Yauch; son, Kevin Yauch; daughter-in-law, Jill Yauch; parents, John and Marie Yauch; and 5 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in Ron’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
