VOLLMAR, MARILYN JOAN– Of Grand Blanc, age 85, passed peacefully Thursday, July 13, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those who desire may make contributions to the Court Street United Methodist Church.
Visitation 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Marilyn was born in Caro, Michigan on April 24, 1938, the daughter of the late Hazen and Mildred Reavey.
She married William Vollmar on November 24, 1956.
She was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church.
She loved traveling to Florida; working in her garden and spending time with her family.
Surviving are son, Todd (Laura Roberts) Vollmar;
grandchildren, Chloe and Isabella;
brother, William Reavey;
many nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and family;
beloved pet, Molly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Vollmar and parents.
