Michael John Sparkman, of Flint, MI, entered into the presence of God on
November 6,2020. Visitation will be held on November 11, 2020 at 10 am,
followed by memorial services at 11 am at New Life Christian Fellowship,
2237 Reid Road, Grand Blanc, MI. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.
Michael was born April 7,1959 in Flint, the son of Edward and Irene
Sparkman. He attended Atherton Schools. He married Virginia Ann Grove
on October 14, 1978. Mike installed carpet for 30 years before becoming
the install coordinator at Home Depot. He enjoyed woodcarving,
gardening, and landscaping. He was the glue that kept the
family together.
Surviving are: his wife, Virginia; son, Michael and his wife, Ashley
Sparkman; and Nicholas and his wife, Tammie Sparkman; his 4 favorite
grandchildren, Collin, Averie, Adelaide, and Evelyn; sister, Debbie and her
husband, Troy Walton; brother, Edward and his wife, Joyce Sparkman; as
well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
